Attitude of Gratitude.

Have you ever noticed how many annoying things there are in a day. Do you seem to notice the bad things more than the good things. Alot of time the good things that happen in a day seem to pass by without us even acknowledging them. You can bet that most of us pay attention to the bad things that happen though. Am I right, or am I right. I learned a technique, a while back that helps with this. When I wake up in the morning, one of the first things I do is think of things that I have to be grateful for. My family, friends, something that happened the day before, or things that have been going good in life. I do this while getting ready for work (showering, shaving, ect.). When you do this, it seems to set off a chain reaction. Since learning this little piece of wisdom, I now find myself, being greateful for things all through out my day. Let me tell you, it feels alot better to pay attention to things I am greatful for than it does to only notice the bad things. It does wonders for your overall mood.

Give it a try. Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Everyone has something to be greatful for. Even if it's only a couple of things, it always feels good to remind yourself that there are good things in life too. Please don't say you have nothing to be greatful for. You know it's not true.

No Blogging

So I've had no time for blogging lately. In Feb. My father past away so that took a lot of my time. In March we bought a house. All the looking, bidding and signing papers was crazy, although we did find a house fairly fast. My girlfriends Mother past away shortly after we found the house if you can believe that. I have a small clothing company which has been using up more of my spare time that usual, not to mention that I work full time as well. Golf season is on it's way. I take golf pretty seriously because I am trying to qualify for my provincial amateur championship. Right now I try to do a little putting and chipping around the house about 4-5 days a week and the ranges just opened up so I've been going there twice a week as well. Working out about 5 times a week is in the agenda too. Oh and I can't forget that I make time for my family every day as well.
That seems like an awful lot now that I'm reading it. Oh well. So far I'm managing, but I am going to try to blog a little more too. I may have to try and write shorter posts more often. We'll see what happens. I also may start including a few golf posts here and there.
Here's a past post one time management.

That's all for now...
