Golf - The U.S. Open - Oh Phil......

Oh Phil...........I could barely stand to watch the look on your face after Ogilvy won the tournament. I can say that I was was rooting for you. I can't even imagine the thought of preparing so hard as you did, coming so close, and losing by one stroke. I could see the mental exhaustion on your face as plain as day. Oh Phil........why couldn't you have played it safe and kept that big ol' driver in the bag. Why couldn't you have played it safe when you were in the rough just before you hit that tree. Oh the agony........Oh the pain.......Oh the dissapointment.
Oh Phil......the dream of three majors in a row may be over (for now) but we still love ya buddy. I just wish that if someone had to beat you it would have been Monty or Furyk at the top of the leaderboard. Not that Ogilvy isn't a good golfer, but it just didn't feel right that he won. I just wasn't feeling it.

Well Phil.....there's always next year............

Happy Father's Day!!!!!!

I'm still getting used the idea of actually being a dad on Father's day (I have an eight month old). I can say that becoming a father was the best thing to ever happen to me, and I'm sure you dad's out there would say the same.
It's not always easy, but definately worth it.

Ok, I admit that when Edmonton was down 3-1 in the series I thought they had no chance. All I can say is wow. They played one hell of a game tonight and the edmonton fans got way more than their money's worth.
They were shooting the puck every chance they had, which is a real switch from the rest of the games in the series. Look for the same thing in monday's game.
It looks like that break that the Oilers had from the last series is paying off. Carolina looked tired.
